Trump says Washington in talks with Russia and China for denuclearization

US President Donald Trump has said Washington is holding talks with Moscow and Beijing aimed at denuclearization.

In an interview in Washington, Trump said Russia, the US and China have the biggest stockpiles of nuclear weapons. He said he would love to see denuclearization if possible and expects China to catch up with the US within five years.

His comments come months after the New START treaty expired earlier this year, with discussions now underway for future limits.
